@GuyWithNoName67 I think Banks improved steadily each year. However, you really has some very nice licks in the early Yes sound. I just think that the songwriting here is more involved and intricate than the early Yes tracks so it probably seems to enhance his technicality. Also, check out some of Kaye's early Hammond licks on Then and the Prophet. You will see that his virtuosity was already well developed on the early Yes sound. Hope that gives you an insight.

Saw these guys in summer of 72' with Heep in Charlotte NC. Such beginnings full of promise but sadly were only a flash on the music scene.

This extended version is excellent! Does anyone have the shorter 45 rpm version of this great song that they could post?

this was the first concert i ever went to in cherry hill nj way back when they still sound great are they available on CD
This was such a great song from the summer of 1972. Fragile, Close To The Edge, In The Can, Foxtrot and Trilogy were all released that year here in the states. What a vintage year for prog!

Children of the Universe is equally as good. Tony Kaye really is great on the hammond organ onthis album. I saw them in Asbury Park NJ in 1973.
