Footage from today's rally in Shrewsbury in support of the Justice for the 24 Shrewsbury Pickets campaign. Ricky Tomlinson was one of those pickets.

He and Des Warren were both jailed following a lengthy and costly trial under trumped up 'conspiracy' charges.

The conspiracy charge, using an act of 1875, allowed for an unlimited jail sentence.

The Prosecuting Barrister Maurice Drake QC explained the incredible nature of this charge. You didn't have to meet, you didn't even have to know each other; a conspiracy could be arranged, 'with a nod and a wink'.
