several partial, annular and total solar eclipses I've seen between 1994 and 2006. Several of these I saw as tour escort / guide / guest with Astronomicaltours.net . After the 2006 Total Solar eclipse I also saw the 2008 total eclipse in the Barents Sea on a russian nuclear icebreaker on a photoshoot for Quark Expeditions, and the 2009 total solar eclipse in Hangzhou China ( fled Shanghai's clouds ;-) , you can find videos on my channel www.youtube.com/klipsigeneva . I was with Astronomical Tours in 2001 Costa Rica annular, 2002 Australia total, 2003 Antarctica total, 2005 Galapagos total, 2006 Egypt total eclipses. Thank you very much to Vic and Jen Winter.

2016 is not in 16 years, it is very soon, in 6 years.

it is on March 9, 2016.

more info on all eclipses on the NASA eclipse website . just google NASA ECLIPSE and you will find the site

  • OMG 2042 I'll be 63 year old by then, but I'll try my best to go Indonesia as you recommend I could gather some money 16 years from now for sure THAT IS if the world don't end @ 2012 lol, your info is accurate right? it came from astrologist rite? come to think of it, I heard mayan calendar can predict eclipses hundred, thousands years from the future.

  • @jemhson

there is a total eclipse in 2016 in Indonesia, not too far from you.

but if you want to watch one from Philippines you'll have to wait til 2042...

  • im from Philippines

i can't travel around the globe coz i don't have passport or visa whatsoever

I've witness a solar eclipse before but its partial, i want TOTAL.

there was a total eclipse here in Philippines before but I am just a baby, i guess that was (+)(-) 1987.

  • @jemhson

    where do you live ?

if you are in the U.S. , there is an annular eclipse in 2 years, and a total eclipse in 7 years. But if you can travel worldwide you can see a total eclipse somewhere almost every year. Google " nasa eclipse " and you will find the nasa eclipse site with all future eclipses listed.

  • i hope I'll see one of this before i die.

  • This vidoe is great. It proves that eclipses are amazing and beautiful and that people say "ye haw" all over the world. :-)
