The original powerhouse rockers "Teen Angel & the Rockin' Rebels" take over the stage to pulverize eardrums with their version of "Palisades Park." Classic rock showmen captured on film during their golden years by rocumentarians McDowall & Helem.
I generally have no regard for imitation or fakery, but I think I can tell when a band really feels the music. I dig this and also wish I was there. Anything negative could also be said about Crazy Cavan or the great Flash Cadillac. Of course the original performer is always best, but there is a lot to be said for very well done, heartfelt recreations and cover bands. Unless the music sucks in the first place... Cheers
I used to love going to see Teen Angel in Nanaimo. I liked the bass player the best. My fondest memory of them is when they played It's Only Make Believe. The singer did a beautiful job of that every time. He had the perfect vibrato! I'll never forget it!
Hey 22, The user beansandweiners on facebook was one of your Dad's friends. Said last he heard about 10 yrs ago, Pete was playing the legions in Langley B.C. Is Pete still playing and if yes, whats his band called now?
We seen these guys in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, 1974 at the Red Lion bar and they were fantastic, My sister went on a date with Pete the singer and it was Love at first site. He even had sup with us at our house. God was he a gorgeous
man. He walked and talked with such a cool presence, very much like Elvis!
Great song, but the screaming moron kinda turned a pretty cool song into a piece of crap. Desperate for attention?
