It was Ted Cassidy, who played "Lerch" on the TV show The Addams Family.

Well, it sounded like him. I think it's someone else entirely. my bad.

That's Fred Gwynne "Herman Munster" on the phone.

I remember seeing this movie in the theater somewhere in Midlothian, VA. May have been at the now closed Cloverleaf Mall.

I was,like,nine when this came out. I was living in the north Houston,Texas suburb of Aldine and saw it at the Champions Twin theatre. They also showed "The Great Brain" starring Jimmy Osmond not long before or after this one.

@wingitprod 2 weeks isn't good? Nearly every movie we ran only ran for a single week, very few movies were held over for a second week. I think "Grease" ran for about 4 weeks, I'm pretty sure "Saturday Night Fever" was held over for about 4 weeks, "Jaws" was held over, those are the ones I remember, there were probably others. However, few movies were ever held over.

@clintonearlwalker Thanks. Still 2 weeks isn't good.

@wingitprod I don't ever remember this movie being pulled from our theater, I'm pretty sure it ran for 1 week and I think 2 weeks in the case of this movie. The only movie I remember that had anything to do with being pulled was the Monty Python movie "Life of Brian". I read on the internet it was pulled from some theaters. It wasn't pulled from ours though, I do remember several people walking out at the beginning of the show, about the only movie where that happened.

Sad this was Ted Cassidy's last movie. Where in blazes did you find this? I don't even remember it playing on cable. I remember hearing it was pulled from theaters in the 1st day. I heard the same thing about "The Pirate Movie".
