This video shows where Mew is and how to catch it.

Mew is on Faraway Island, which can only be reached once you've obtained the National Dex and the Old Sea Chart, the latter of which can only be obtained via cheating.

  • why does nintendo make things more difficult for example the way to get jirachi is by buying pokemon colosseum and a gamecube lead the way to get lugi and ho-oh is by trading with another game boy its stupid because i dont have any friends who play pokemon emerald so i cant get loads of pokemon so i will never complete it thanks to nintendo

  • @ihascookieTV which is why Nintendo has set it up so that Mew, Celebi, Lugia, Ho-oh, Deoxys, and Jirachi are not needed to complete the Pokedex in any third generation game. The same goes with Manaphy, Darkrai, and Arceus in Generation 4.

  • @ihascookieTV So true!!!!! Omg there are ALOT of ... let's say "Legendary" Pokemon that you just can't get because of Nintendo's brilliant ideas of you having to do some sort of event or shit like that. I hate it.

  • Event?

  • @xxthesilentshadowxx the only problem with that is trading between generations 1 & 2 and 3 isn't possible.

  • can you catch anything other than mew on the island?

  • @snipin4life or trade from yellow cause they never got rid of the mew glitch until after yellows release

  • @ihascookieTV nintendo earns more money that way. I bet there are a dozen of kids who want to have every pokemon possible in a game... so they buy the other stuff nintendo makes. probably also all the pokemon games of one generation so they can have every pokemon without having anybody else help them and trade the pokemon with them. e.e
