  • how much did it cost you to do the following? (indiviually)

  • @HybridAres Not sure I can break it down to just those. Webcams cost about $700, valves were about $270 plus $160 for the 3-angle valve job. Porting was free because I did it myself. Lightened internals includes the Eagle H-Beams rods which are $320, the pistons which were $650 and a full balance which was $180. The header was home made and cost me $60 in materials but I did all the design and welding. I did all assemble myself.

  • I took a Momo hub and ground the base where it meets the spiral cable so it wouldn't press on it and bind. I think most people just remove the spiral cable assembly which is why you would see metal there without it. The hole for the horn in the Momo hub lines up with the connector for the cruise control on the spiral cable so after cutting some plastic on the connector it plugs right in. The cruise stalk is just suspended with wire in the hub and comes out a slit in the plastic cover.

  • The turbo I am using is a t3/t4 50 trim with home made header and downpipe. I've had it on the car before when my 5sfe was more stock but I didn't have the tuning for it so there were problems. It was fun for 3 weeks though. This time I know more and am taking my time to do it the right way. For anyone wanting to turbo a 5sfe or any NA car for that matter, just remember the most important thing is the tuning.

  • Not sure the 1/4 as I haven't had it at the track. The car keeps up with stock turbo MR2s at the meets though so I would guess 15s at this altitude and 14s at sea level. I should be low 12s or 11s when it is tuned with the new turbo. I am finishing up the intercooling part now and hope to start tuning in a month or two.

  • All noise no speed lol

  • can you post another video at idle i want to hear it with the cams

  • great video

  • Can you share you secret as to how you covered up all that exposed metal you usually see when you replace the stock wheel with an aftermarket one? And How did you get to keep your cruse control? I have been wanting a new wheel but I was afraid I wasn't able to keep my cruse control, which is vital to my great MPG.

  • what kind of turbo setup are you going to do? i have a 91 n/a and i want to turbo it
