hi,
i bought fimo clay (black) as well, but whenever i want to use it, they fell into mini bits and pieces. =(( it took alot of time and strength to get it stick together .
do u know why ?

I bought a batch like that once. It was dried out. At some point it was stored at a high temperture (and started to bake)
It is a bad batch. Take it back to the store and get some that feels soft and squishy.

The kits are available at any craft store.. Try A.C. Moore, Micheals, panoplie, Hobby Lobby...
You could also try Wal-Mart.
My kit cost $14.
