@DeathofBabylon While I do agree that good music is good music, and, this coming from an atheist, that it shouldn't matter too much, that you should at least respect that any music by faithful isn't not necessarily Christian. Specifically, the Weiss brothers grew up in a Muslim home. Yes they do have all sorts of Judeo-Christian themes in music, please respect that not all Judeo-Christians (Muslims included) are followers of Christ in their minds.

To me this line refers to how a secular life is pleasing to the flesh, as you only serve yourself. Everything seems peaceful. but when you find god and are rescued by his grace, you soon realize that living your life for him is more difficult than it seems, as we are all human and prone to imperfections. Thus the metaphor of being rescued by hardship. Yeah...
