How To Make Your Own IRC Chat Room For Free

Here I show how to create a chatroom on WyldRyde (a chat server used by the influencial Chris Pirillo).

Make sure you are connected to irc.wyldryde.org/6667

- Register your nick *IMPORTANT*

/msg nickserv register password email
/msg nickserv identify

- Register the channel
/msg chanserv register #channel password description

- Set a mode
/mode +m - moderators

- Add a bot

/msg botserv act #channel text

/msg botserv badwords #channel add


- Add another user as Op
/msg chanserv aop #channel add


- Change topic - Fantasy command

@pstgh,go to the WyldRyde website,and get a widget.then embed it into wyldryde.html. Watch Create a Free Website From Scratch on more info.anyways,open the wyldryde.html file you made and type in your username,click Identify to NickServ, and type in your password.Voila! It tells NickServ your password,and you are identifyed!

if you use darkmyst server instead of wyldryde you will be able to register your channel darkmyst seems like a better irc server anyways try it out if your looking to register your chat channel
