@jett188 Correct...and the parking lights were incorporated into the propeller 'blade' of the grill. The hood ornament had a bigger 'mohawk' look which was shortened by about a half an inch in 1950. The transmission in the 1950 Ford was vastly improved, however. The dash clocks always quit less than six months from the factory. There may not be a single original dash clock still operational in a 1949 Ford.
We used to call this a business coupe, since a lot of them didn't have a back seat. Salesmen used them a lot to travel in. The 2 door sedan had a back seat, shorter deck and bigger "cab". I had a '49 2 dr sedan in high school. Paid $285 for it in '59 and it had 14,000 miles on it.
I had one of these in 1957. The 1950 had more ornamental front parking lights. The trunk handle went from a solid casting to a sheet metal affair in 1950.
