NOTE: To disable AC-3 passthrough, change the attemptPassthrough number from 1 to 0, in com.cod3r.a52codec.plist.

NOTE: The movie has to be a '.mov' file, if it is for example a '.mp4' file, open it up with QuickTime X, or QuickTime Pro 7, and save it as a QuickTime Movie.

i have an imac and done everything right, however, what does the optical cable plug into. can't you use just 2.1 computer speakers?

@natyyomar DTS is noise, it need to be decoded to hear it.

like an mp3, you cannot play an mp3 file in a cd player, it wont work.

it needs to get decoded...a year ago you might have figured this out.

Hi Jack, I have an issue that nobody could help me for now...I somebody or hope you can figure it out.I am trying to play DTS files in .AIFF format but i just get a noise white sound, similar you showed on the tutorial.

This is my actual setup but i think it is relative to codec right?
