An Elvis impersonator named Gary (Jeff Yagher) travels back in time and meets the real Elvis Presley. / A man finds a woman (Shelley Duvall) who earlier had encountered a mysterious saucer.
in order for the premise of this episode to work, one must accept parallel/multiple universes exist for each timeline alteration. that's why upon elvis' death, the impersonator still remembers his tunes. also, there's definitely homoerotic vibes in this episode. intentional or not, that's up for debate.
Wow, I was just sitting here remembering seeing this when it came on 25 years ago when I was 7 years old. I went onto tv.com first and looked up the twilight zone and found the name of the episode and typed it in on you tube and there it was. I haven't seen this sence then. What a blast from the past.
Funny everyone is saying he don't look like Elvis..but how many impersonators look like Elvis?? Hell they all the impersonators look like each other..besides..its only an episode..
