Be sure to check out both reviews as each contains different information. Checkout the full review of the Neo Geo Pocket Color. All new narration with an examination of the screen and impact from light sources. Special thanks to Cybernator5000 for suggesting the idea to review the NGPC.

  • I just got one of these, does yours have a black grid on the screen? like,a fine mesh between all the pixels. Looks ok, but dark. You can see it even when the screen is off. I swear that looks much more colorful than mine even when I have it directly under a light.

  • @kromo770 , yes, I can see the pixel structure. It looks just like you describe. The best looking you see in my video is in the sunlight early morning. The camera may not pick it up. But its normal so do not worry about it.

  • great video! dont forget to mention me in the description :)

  • @cybernator5000 Done and done. Thanks. :)

Ok, thank you, I played one years ago and you really don't remember stuff like that, guess all the newer handhelds and HD games I've played have spoiled me. But still, great system.

  • I've been playing my NGPC for the last 2 weeks. I'm testing out the new Flashmasta cart and put CFC2 with the English translation on it. So far so good. I'm having fun with it.

  • Great review. I got out my NGPC last week on a whim after not using it for ages. I actually own a worm light for it, but it plugs in via a rechargeable battery pack that no longer holds any charge. I have to tether the battery pack to a wall wart to use the worm light and the power cable is only 3 or 4 feet long. Also, the worm light doesn't provide consistent light across the screen so I never found it terribly useful (except when playing in the dark). It is a neat little system though!
