@lurch321 I agree. There were actually alot of good upbeat AOR songs on Waking Up The Neighbors, and even Thought I'd Died and Gone to Heaven was a decent rockish ballad.. so its really an injustice he became known for Everything I Do, which is more wimpy and kinda made people forget his rock roots.
I actually found out about him as a kid in the early 90s on VH1 through the more rockin' songs like Summer of 69.

Exactly my thoughts!!!!
The only good 90s song he did was "Can't Stop this thing we Started" , the rest were all sappy at best
"Everything I Do (I Do it for You)" comes to mind
*vomit*

@lurch321 And one of Bryan's better full rock out tunes that doesn't get the airplay it deserves in this day and age. Will be definitely one of the tunes I share on my facebook page to illuminate some songs not heard that much, from the decade I was mainly in my 20's (from 1983; first four I was in my teens) that aren't heard as often (starting mainly in late-March of this year.) I wonder what some of Canadian dj's/on-air radio personalities who are facebook friends will say about this one)

Heard this on the way to work yesterday, and forgot how damn good it was/is..One of my favorite songs.. Meaning, great guitar riff, vocal touch your soul!!!!
BRYAN IS A MAN AHEAD OF HIS TIME, HE SHOT INTO STARDOM WITH PURE ROCK , RASPY AND HUSKY VOICE MANY WOULD ENVY , HE'S PERFOMANCE ARE ORIGINAL WHAT A TRUE ROCKER AND MUSIC SHOULD BE .

Back when Bryan wasn't afraid to rock out................dunno why Into The Fire didn't sell better. After this, aside from a few songs (eg. Can't Stop This Thing We Started) he got WAY too soft and ballad-oriented for me. Here's hoping he'll eventually return to his roots! Side note: congrats on becoming a daddy, Bryan!
