I am really excited for a number of reasons as you can probably imagine. Tomorrow will be seven weeks since the surgery and I haven't had a hair cut since then and that is the worse part of it. So I am here today A, to take advantage of the EXT post surgery program and part of that is to get a hair cut. Number 2 is to find out why I have had a lot of sensitivity and lot of itching on my head. It is not painful just very uncomfortable and only certain sections of my scalp, so Jeanette, hi.
Good to see you again.
Thank you, thank you. I am told you have this new tool here called the pro scope.
Yeah.
This is going to help me find out why I have got so much sensitivity on my scalp.
Yes this very helpful. It will actually help us to monitor your progress we can see exactly what is going on with your scalp.
That is not going to hurt is it? It is like a microscope.
No. we sanitize a little scope It is what it does, it magnifies your scalp.
So are you seeing why I am having a lot of sensitivity.
I am. I am seeing just a few little pimple type things here. Just one there. It happens the hair just gets stuck behind may be a thicker layer of skin and it forms just a little pimple and it doesnt take much treatment just may be a little hot pack and then the hair will find its way through the skin and begin to grow. Look at that one there is three in there.
So there is three in that one now you are taking a still frame of this too.
See down at the bottom you have the little pictures recorded. So we can take a look at those and see what they look like.
And all that redness was a pimple.
Yes.
So I have got what I have bargained for Kim indicated 18-year-old hair, and I am also getting pimples like an 18-year-old but on my scalp.
They are easy they will go away quickly.
Okay.
Look at the growth. Look how the hairs are coming out nice and healthy and thick.
I don't necessarily know what I am looking for, but they do look very thick. Very dense shafts and follicles.
There is a lot of dark hairs there. So you are off to a good start. Perhaps.
Excellent. How do I stop the pimples? That is just natural more cleansing.
You probably want to use maybe a hot compress on your scalp and it is up to the doctor and he will tell you how long but it is generally half an hour to an hour. May be you just press that to your scalp gently. And it kind of helps open them up and then they tend to open on their own.
As I had mentioned earlier I am here for my EXT today and this is my first EXT treatment. Now, what I understand is that there is going to be some heat treatment there.
Yes.
Heat lamp treatment as well as a towel.
Nice warm towel.
Okay.
Just like as you go to the old fashioned barber shop, who places that nice warm towel on your face. This is on your head. It is very relaxing it feels good it is a spa type atmosphere in there Jasmine has some soft recorded music.
So the heat treatments is going to help me with these pimples though.
Yes it will.
So I am actually, really like I was on the fence about the EXT treatment. But now that I know some of the benefits of it, it is not just a spa treatment with the scalp massage. This is actually going to help me with my cleansing. So it will help with that sensitivity and the pimples.
Yes.
Okay great.
She will also give you a nice hair cut.
I can't wait for the haircut. So thanks for tuning in once again. I am really happy about the progress. So I am getting a hair cut. I am getting the pimples cleaned out and great news and I can track this every week.
Yes. We will keep your pictures in a folder. So each time you come in we can review them. So you can see your progress every time you come in.

@DanielAvilaGT
Sorry about not posting. I did not see your comment. My progress is great. I decided to have a 2nd surgery because I lost so much hair that one surgery could not fill my entire bald spot - LOL. I will be posting pix of it soon

@DanielAvilaAGT Hi Progress is great. Sorry, I didn't mean to ignore your comments. I have been keeping a viog about my experience that last 14 months. Are you experiencing hair loss? Are you going to have a treatment or go all natural?

So you essentially had ingrown hairs on your scalp? Ouch...

Yes, I have heard some people do not get them though. It wasn't so bad just a bit of irritation. I took Hibiclens and that helped solve the problem.
