  • These days, we are frightenned to criticise anything that is new. So, I won't! We have excellent modern composers, such as Lloyd Webber, Carl Davis, Paul McCartney, John Rutter and Karl Jenkins. Hollywood must be thrilled with the availability of such composers. My taste in 20th century composers is modest by comparison. I prefer Stravinsky, Bartok, Britten and William Walton.

  • sang this five years ago. incredibly exciting to sing or to listen to.it doesn't get enough press - it is a hymn to 9/11 and the twenty-first century.

the first recording of the armed man was released the day before 9/11. How ironic.

  • Great to see the Town Hall packed!
