Leading Tones - Brick - LC Pavilion Columbus, Ohio 2/21/09

The Leading Tones, an A Capella group from Ohio University performing "Brick" by Ben Folds.

Before Ben took the stage, he invited the group out to perform 3 songs. They also performed and recorded the song for an upcoming Ben Folds album "A Capella"

I wondered about that. I noticed it was the main mic that Miniature Tigers was using, and it sounded a little off for them too. I thought you guys still sounded great though.

So I was just wondering if you have video of the other songs too, or just this one. I'm the guy who rapped during the second song, and just kinda wanted to see what it sounded like. Either way is cool. Thanks for putting this up though. It's much appreciated.

Sorry, this was the only one I could record. There were some LC staff milling about near me, and since they were taking cameras at the door, I didn't want to risk it.

Either way, you sounded great out there. I wasn't really sure what to expect when Ben announced the group, but I was quite impressed. And congratulations on making it on the album!

thanks. Yeah, I understand. A bunch of my friends said they took everyone's batteries. So lame, but definitely appreciate the risk of recording brick and the feedback.
