This is the transistorized version of the famous super-sensitive "Ranger" radios.
It has a metal handwired chassis. Can't remember how many transistors it has in it, but I think it's around either eight or nine.
Was dead as a doorknob when I first got it. Once I replaced all the electrolytics, it sprung into life--and then some.
Almost as good as a GE Superadio.
The quality of this radio is superb.
And expensive--I suspect this was their top-of-the-line transistor radio.
