I can't tell from the vid, but do they have extra head/face protection in this exercise? Because I saw some people underhand throwing which could go over the shield and hit their head or something.

Besides the Riot shield, OC spray, and the tazer what other type of training do Marine Military police get? I'm very curious.

You'll get some CQB, EVOC, arrest procedures, report writing, call response, learn how to drive humvees, shoot the M9 handgun, shotguns, etc. You'll even be shooting the M249 SAW and M240 (7.62). It's a very well rounded program. Taser will come later, not during MP school.

That happened. Guy went to the hospital. Lesson learned: do not stick your foot out from under the shield, or wear shin guards that cover your boots better.
