Let me rephrase this for you because you seem to use "hunting" rather the the true word which is "killing". I love "hunting" for shedded anlter but I will never kill a living creature so what you do is a "love" for killing.

If yours is about "food" you would not be using a weapon as barbaric and inaccurate as a bow and arrow. Use a shot gun straight to the heart how is that? If you have a freezer kill enough to "feed" your gluttony family till the next season using a shotgun and may you croak form prions.

What's worse is that the wildlife killers uses the "food" excuses to justify unnecessary pain, suffering to sentient beings for recreational purpose. The point here is 'recreational hunting' not survival. We don't need to hunt to survive nowadays, unless you choose to live outside of civilisation - and that is by choice.

- So a bunch of guys decide to hit the outback for a weekend camping trip,

"What are we gonna eat ?" one asks.

"I'll bring a gun and we can shoot a deer or a squirrel or something!" -

Is that is survival? Could they not have taken food with them? Could they not have gone camping nearer the shops?
