This video features 11 species of moray eel from the Mergui Archipelago in Myanmar, the Burma Banks, and various sites around Phuket and the Similan Islands in Thailand.

The video was shot by Nick Hope with a Sony VX2000 DV camera in a Gates housing. It was edited in Sony Vegas Pro then deinterlaced with QTGMC and upscaled to 720p HD in AviSynth.

    Well, technically the largest moray by length is the slender moray (no, not the "No eyes, alway watches" kind of slender), it can grow up to 13 ft long.

    Good idea, but it's very difficult to capture them doing anything except sitting in their hole looking out. I've only ever seen 1 in the Andaman Sea, which was at Elephant Head in the Similans, and it was after I made this video. There are a few in my Indonesia videos.
