Speaker Pelosi spoke this afternoon at an enrollment ceremony in the Capitol, in which she signed the College Cost Reduction and Access Act, the largest investment in college financial aid since the GI Bill in 1944. After the bill was enrolled, it was sent today to President Bush for his signature into law. Also speaking are Chairman George Miller and Chairman Ted Kennedy. College needs to be free to everyone in the country, as Highschool was back in the 50's and 60's and even the 70's when it was in high demand, the problem nowadays is Highschool is oldschool and worthless for finding a job, I mean who in the world besides some Pimp Brothel or a Chinese or Indian sweatshop would ever hire someone with just a Highschool diploma?
Money buys Money, and it takes money to make money, and nothing is free but crime.

I'm sorry, but did you actually listen to the stipulations of this act? Perhaps, if you are rich enough to not need to take a single federal grant for any of your THREE children, you shouldn't be complaining.

This legislation is very exciting! It will help people like my brother who rely on loans to pay for college because the interest rates will be less. He will have less debt when he graduates and will be able to persue his dream job, teaching high school.
