I think when Tibetans have the freedom to rebuild their thousands of monasteries Tibet will become a major tourism destination.
I have no interest in going to Tibet while it is under the brutal rule of the communist party and Tibetans are not free to speak out.
Tibetans have spoken out on many youtube videos.
Many Tibetans in Tibet spoke out on "Leaving Fear Behind" (24 minutes) which is on youtube now.
Any Tibetan in Tibet who speaks out on a video is a hero in my opinion.

the only way tibet to be free from the clutches of communist china is to fight or through violence.even i am an indian,and yes violence is wrong.but even a innocent cow when threatened will fight back for it's life or freedom,we can't call this action as violence,rather it is self defence.there is a saying in india "a thorn can only be plucked out by using another thorn".the chinese government went after thier own people with tanks,then tibetian non-vioolence is nothing to those coward's.

eware of the .50 cent club which are Chinese paid fifty cents for each lie they put on the Web. The most massive effort to spread lies in the history of the world, reputed to number over 300,000 doing it. Beware of this scum which you can spot by foul language and dissing HH Dalai Lama.

MILLIONS killed under chairman Mao's rule in the PRC is estimated at 65 The Black Book of Communism 70+ Mao: The Unknown Story 77 RJ Rummel Yet Mao's picture is STILL in Tiananmen Square. The communist party hasn't changed its lying and brutal nature. The persecution of Falun Gong began in 1999. How many people in the west even know what Falun Gong is. A few months ago I had no idea what FLG stood for. FREE Tibet FREE East Turkestan FREE South Mongolia FREE Falun Gong and FREE China

@unisti..
You stupid fool, they are speaking english, becasue they want the world to know they are being wiped out by EVIL chinese.
Why are these uneducated, oppressed, tortured Tibetans speaking in English (instead of the 2 official languages in Tibet)?

How annoying If you paid attention, some Tibetans arrived prior to interviews. Some came from torture in prison. Some have been in India for years, working for the Tibetan Govt in Exile (English spkrs). Some were tortured previously and escaped. You're a moron my friend. You don't care about Tibetans, why waste your time posting? You're banned from posting here future posts will be monitored for nonsense. Youtube ain't a democracy pal, but then you wouldn't know one if it hit you in the rear.

Let's just say Chinese killed 100,000 Tibetans, at a bare minimum, then what? I don't understand why people continue to dismiss the seriousness of this. The situation in North Korea is just as serious of not more serious than this. The situation in the middle east is even worse. Is it an excuse to avoid feeling guilty about the state of the world? If not, what's the reason for this?

Fear and ignorance. Fear of offending the Chinese economic juggernaut, ignorance of the facts about China invading Tibet. Just because someone repeats a lie over and over, will not make it true. I recommend going to Tibet, and see for yourself what's happening there. Or go to Dharamsala and meet some refugees. or even wherever you live, find a Tibetan buddhist monk, and listen to what he or she has to say. the truth sets you free.
