Get Ready Get Set Don't Go {Season 3 Chapt. 1}

*2 Years Later*
Kaylee's P.O.V:
I sat at my desk sorting my music.

I heard someone coming in the room behind me. I knew it was Gabe.

-Hmmm....who could be walking up behind me? Could it be a monster? Or maybe a vampire? Or maybe...*spins around* the cutest baby brother in the world! *smiles**picks him up*
Gabe: *laughs* Hi Kaywee!
-Hey! What's up?
Gabe: Daddy say dinner ready!
-Alright. Let's go.

I walked downstairs, Gabe on my hip. Dad was putting Gaby in her booster seat and Caleb was sitting down while Kat set the table.

-Oldest daughter, youngest son have arrived.
Zac: *laughs* Hey baby. *kisses her cheek*

I put Gabe in his booster seat and we sat down. We began to eat.

Kat: Alright so tomorrow's schedule is: Caleb Bitty Basketball, Zac you're taking Gabe to get his hair cut, I'm taking Gaby for her dress fitting and Kaylee has a date with Trevor.
Zac: Stop reminding me.
-*rolls eyes* Good luck Gaby.
Gaby: I like Trevwor.
-Hey, watch it. He's taken.

Gaby giggled and Dad fed her some food. She's still having trouble eating on her own.

Zac: Wasn't Trevor supposed to be joining us?
Trevor: *comes in* Yes. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Meeting ran late. *kisses Kaylee* I'm sorry.
-*laughs* It's OK baby. Just sit down.
Trevor: *sits down next to her**starts making a plate*
-How was the meeting?
Trevor: Very good. Long but good.
-Good.
We ate dinner and after dinner me and Trevor lay in the hammok near the pool. I lay in his arms. He had his arms around me and held my hands.

-So, I have to send out my applications for college soon.
Trevor: Working on UCLA?
-Of course. Top choice. *smiles* But I also applied for that basketball scholorship to USC. It's a little further away then UCLA, but it's still has a great basketball program.
Trevor: Then you should go for that. Basketball's yoru dream.
-Yeah. *smiles* I love you Trevie.
Trevor: I love you too Kays. *kisses her head*

Zac's P.O.V:
I stood at the sink doing dishes watching Kaylee and Trevor on the hammok. Kat came up next to me.

Kat: Spying?
-Kinda.
Kat: You still don't trust Trevor?
-I do. I'm just concerned. I mean, he's like me when I was 18. Traveling for movies. I just don't want Kaylee getting hurt.
Kat: Oh babe. *rubs his shoulders* She'll be fine. She's a big girl.
-*sighs* I know. Sadly.

I watched them for a minute with sad eyes.

Kat: What's wrong?
-She's gonna be 18 in four weeks.
Kat: Oh baby.
-18. My baby will be a legal adult.
Kat: Babe, you knew it was coming.
-But why does it have to come so soon?
Kat: Because that's how life works. And hey, you still have Gaby. Your little munchkin.
-Yeah but then she's gonna grow up. And so will Caleb and Gabe. It's not fair Kat.
Kat: But it has to happen.
-So you're gonna be OK in 5 years when Caleb's cuddling on that hammok with some pretty 13 year old girl?
Kat: *glares at him* You really suck right now.
-*laughs**rolls eyes*

That night I went into Kaylee's room. I found her asleep at her desk, CDs in a pile. I smiled and picked her up bridal style. I put her in bed and tucked her in. I kissed her forehead.

-Night Snuggle Bunny. Sweet dreams.
