AD: "Zoey" - Vote NO on Issue 2

That's why it is so important to vote no on Issue 2. Issue 2 makes it illegal to negotiate for enough firefighters to do their job, and these firefighters, they know what they need as far as equipment and manpower.

How many of those politicians at Columbus have fought a fire? Have been short manpower? The politicians don't care about the middle class -- they've turned their backs on all of us. I don't want the politicians in Columbus making decisions for the firefighters, the police, teachers, nurses or any organization that's helping people.

Fewer firefighters can mean the difference between life or death. And that's why I'm voting no on Issue 2."

The number of firefighters is not the sole issue, it's their ability to collectively negotiate. Even with fewer firefighters, the remaining firefighters can voluntarily go above and beyond the other firefighters that will give each of them the opportunity for larger raises.

Issue 2 is primarily about a reduction in the take-home pay for public employees - Civil Servants. These ads about response times, worker safety, etc. are conjectural smoke in mirrors. If you think the state unions have gone too far, vote yes on 2. If you think the strength of the unions should be ratified, vote no.

something the supporters of this "vote no on issue 2" campaign don't want you to know: the number one thing this bill does is stop the direct withdraw of union dues from paychecks of union members. it forces unions to bill their members. when members see what they pay per year in dues for the unions they might not be so willing to contribute. this is why millions of dollars have been spent by the unions to stop issue 2. don't fall for tricks from thugs. vote yes on 2. enough is enough.

Where I live, the value provided by fire protection is that when your house burns, it doesn't burn adjacent homes. 100% of home fires here result in 100% property loss. Loss of life is due to no smoke detectors which is a personal choice that government cannot protect us from.

My defined pension plan was eliminated after 29 years of service. I have NO sympathy We're talking about reality. Join the rest of us..those of you in the political class.
