Hopefully, immigration is a fad that's coming to a slow end. I think the H1B fad is a result of SOME High-Tech companies Needing to stay in the U.S. so they try to bring the cheap labor here. Problem is, these people suck. Sure they can save money when they start out firing half their U.S. Employees and working the other half to death fixing the crap these people develop, but the companies that have a majority of these people eventually go under. We all should join Programmers Guild.

How do you like this 'Benedict Arnold' Tech guy they found who says he has no doubt he could find another job.

I've worked with so many guys like this. They think they're above this scam - THEY AINT! I just found an old co-worker's resume on Craig's list who thought the same thing back when I worked with him. He was the most powerful programmer in the dept. Now he's screwed. Last time I saw him, he was still employed, but he looked half-dead. I think he knew it was coming. it did!

No, they still pay the same things we do, they're just not here legally. Just because someone doesn't have a green card doesn't mean they still don't pay for their childrens education, taxes, and they have to pay for their healthcare untill they retire. No, They're not oppressed. Paying for everything and getting taxed is not what they expected, so therefore they think they're gettin oppressed when infact, they are being treated like everyone else.

Wake up America. There's nothing you can do about it. Corporations and organizations that support these actions such as the ACLU are way to powerful for you. Even our senetors and congress can't take them down... who do you think contribute the most to their campaign anyway? There's nothing your going to do about it. So what are you people going to do about it? I can't get work becuase I'm over qualified, so they tell me. Actually I'm over forty so I'm an insurance risk and they can get H-1 workers for a whole lot cheaper. But as many have and will find out, cheaper is not better it's just sleeping with the enemy.
