Col. Thieme Jr. was a superb "commander" of the Berachach Batallion. He precisely communicated Bible Doctrine with perfect tone, cadence, and snap. In his matchless syle, I can imaging hin looking down from heaven shouting, "FALL IN (i.e. do not forsake assembling yourselves), CONTINUE THE MARCH (i.e. advance to spiritual maturity), AT EASE (i.e. maintain a relaxed mental attitude), and REST (i.e. faith rest & application of doctrinal rationales). And finally,

FOLLOW THE COLORS!!!

Thieme actually reject a lot of money; and a few wealthy friends would never be enough to finance all of the tapes, the Church actually had a lot of debt: which, if you listened to 1969 basics lesson 55, YOU'D KNOW THAT. So, you just exposed your own ugly face for what it's worth.

Thieme's teaching is not crackpot religion: it's some of the most deep *thinking* you'll ever experience: which you haven't.

Actually, I just now realized that Bob Thieme's taped sermons were almost indistinguishable from a clever parody of religious fundamentalist crackpots. I don't know how he could take his own drivel seriously enough to face the man in the mirror.

Re. the free books and tapes, RBT had a rich father-in-law and wealthy friends who financed his propaganda. It is neither graceful nor virtuous to offer ego-driven nonsense free of charge.
