Premananda das : Mrdanga (claydrum) & backgroundvocals.

THE MAHA MANTRA:

Despite of all the prejudgments about the Hare Krishna movement (sect, brainwash, 60's etc.) it is without doubt that this trancendental sound is a very potent way to get spiritual relief in this era. Vedic scripture indicates that sound is a very suitable medium to use for spriritual progress these days.
It has been here from the beginnings of time and will last for all time to come.
We live in the age of quarrel, false leadership and hypocrisy. So there is a lot of pollution going on, not only in the environment but also visual, mental and emotional.
Reciting or singing Mantra's cleanses the dust of the mirror of that mind, so that it can reflect again our true inner spark.

At first I wanted to do an upload with the KRISHNA caption througout the whole vid, but then I decided that it maybe would resemble to much of a 'spiritual karaoke', so I show the caption only at the beginning and the end.

This devotional clip was spontanious made for the sake of beauty.
The meaning of this MANTRA is: O All Atractive One, please by your loving energy make me surrender unto You.

Beautiful! It is difficult to think, a world without this powerful Mantra. No matter how "down" I can be sometimes, whenn I start to chant the MAHA MANTRA, I feel happiness and thanfulness imediately!:) HARIBOL!!!!!

I agree... of course, one has to say the mantra with one's whole heart, and not half a heart. You want to give your whole self to God, and not half of it, lol.
