The Atheist Experience is a weekly cable access television show in Austin, Texas geared at an atheist and non-atheist audience. The Atheist Experience is produced by the Atheist Community of Austin (ACA), a nonprofit educational corporation to develop and support the atheist community, to provide opportunities for socializing and friendship, to promote secular viewpoints, to encourage positive atheist culture, to defend the first amendment principle of state-church separation, to oppose discrimination against atheists and to work with other organizations in pursuit of common goals.

That's really disturbing, and completely unsurprising. Any incursion into the Middle East by a western nation will always be suspect having holy war undertones.

These Bible quotes were clearly used to mentally establish a position of inferiority of the enemy. It's the first step in creating a rationalization that allows someone who thinks they're a religiously superior Christian to kill the enemy without feeling any guilt.

It's also a great way to get people to fight an unjust war.

@tdjdk Some people recognize that the main reason they're whatever religion they are is because that's how their parents raised them yet they persist in "knowing" they are right & even thank god for having them in that situation rather than 1 in which they would've turned out to have some other beliefs.
