I won't go so far as stating he's the best soul singer on a technical note of singing and range, but in my opinion. Putting the feel, and all of he has in a song. He's number 1 to me. =)

@twixter711 nothing but love for Otis here Boo. As far as i'm concerned he own this song and every other song that he ever recorded or rercorded. He made them his own, he was an original and he died an original. noone has ever came close to sounding like him...

Une soirée de nouvel an... 1968 je crois. Bizarre de "voir" Otis sur la musique ce cette chanson. On la jouait et la rejouait en dansant des slows en n'en pas finir. Retrouver la magie de ces moments est impossible. J'ai même un pincement au coeur. Comme si cette musique contenait des promesses ou des illusions que je regrette - non pas de n'avoir pas pu concrétiser - mais dont je n'aurais plus jamais la fraîcheur d'imaginer... la nostalgie je crois... (gros soupir).
