This is a short video of my new race engine being started and tuned .. this tune run upto 113KW, (a recent tune with new headers has netted 124KW). Its making 10%-15% more power and torque to 7000rpm over the old engine and thats good enough for me. :)

  • How does a starlet handle? Doesn't it have a muscle car suspension? Won't it take a ton of custom fab to convert to a modern setup to make it handle better? I want something super light and rwd, but the axles and handling tech is ancient.

  • @carmodifire - If you have watched any of my race videos you should know ... I think they handle very well (bit to short to drift unless very skilled) but it can be done. doesnt take much to get it to handle well at all or go well and being toyota there is a big parts bin to select from when upgrading. good luck

  • @20vkp61 Hey how u doin? Im from Ireland looking for a KP61 Shell with no rust. Much KP61S in NZ?

  • @MrDermo101 - yeah they are still quite popular in NZ but its getting hard to find a good example anymore. most have been owned by young hoons and thrashed, or old nanas and not available yet

  • @20vkp61 Mk2 Escort actually mate

  • @coregate - you could use the K50 box behind the 3au corolla but it wont last long. Best box would be the T40/50 from 84-88 celica/corolla depending on what you wanted or a custom belhouse with w50-55 series supra boxes.
