  • I just got back from a weekend in PDC. I watched the Pack game at Jim's and the Sawmill Tavern and it was AWESOME! I love PDC!

  • It's prooonooounced eat shit and die mother fucker.

  • I live here! Its kind of boring but i like this town a lot!

  • I like it too and visit often. It's not big on entertainment but it is big on natural beauty.

  • this town sucks...i live here...

  • I grew up in a small town and one of two things usually happen--You get bored or too many people know your biz. So, you suck it up or hit the road. I hit the road. In comparision, PDC is not as bad as some of the other towns I've visited. There are parts of America that remind me of a third world country. I guess that's what we are becoming.

  • I love visting Prairie du Chien.

  • It's pronounced, "Prairie du Sheen" and "Wisconsin", not Wesconsin.

Villa Louis = Villa, not as in the Spanish Pancho Villa, simply Villa.

You got the Louis correct, (Lew-wee).

Praire du Chien is the second oldest settlement and incorporated town in the state of Wisconsin, Green Bay being the first. The only battle of the War of 1812 fought in Wisconsin was fought in Prairie du Chien in 1814 and is re-enacted every July on the grounds of the Villa Louis where it took place.

  • The grotto you seen is from our old catholic school for girls. We are the 2nd oldest city in the state of WI. Many of our homes here date back to the early 1800's and if a city can still be here surviving after 200 yrs then it must be the place to live !! You forgot to check out the school for boys where NORM from Cheers went to highschool. Boy you people are strange !!

  • Been there its a nice house we have a vacation home not far north of there

  • 0:47 thats my bus stop i live not far away from it

  • I grew up in PDC, as a kid I wanted out. Now as an adult I wish I was back. You cant beat living in a river town like Prairie.

  • I love it there, I wanna go back so bad I miss the Villa and the river at sunset, and Hammens hehe

  • I live in pdc -' it ROCKS--GO THERE
