  • I have been living with Cystic Hygrma for 37 years. I have a typical life with healthy children, marriage, friends and career. Last year I started support groups on Myspace and Facebooke. We are 158 and 325 strong! For links to my support groups click on my highlighted name and go to my profile.

  • i had cystic hygroma when i was 6 years old.. it was at a weird place. at the back of my ear. however i have been free from it for 10 years..

  • must be awful not to be able to hear her cry..my daughter has cystic hygroma.. shes 17 now but her tube was removed in 2001 after her last succesful operation. she had it since she was 15months old.. but im so glad we cood hear her talk and cry because we were warned we woodnt be able too.the doctors told us she was somehow bypassin enough so her voice cood vibrate on the voicebox.. must i wish you al the luck with her future.. its a a heart wrenching disease.. all the best for ur little one:):)

  • i wish there was more videos like this, my neice is 9 months old now and has this condition.its so difficult to watch her in and out of hospital all the time.she has had 5 ops already.she also has them on her tounge which is going to be a major problem.she has a tracheostomy in her neck for breathing and we have never heard her cry as the tracheostomy rests on her voice box.thanks for this video.

  • Neat! I'm sure you posted this on YT for some nobler purpose than to interest layfolk like me, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

I just had a lymphangioma removed from my neck (for the second time). I keep reading that they're congenital, but mine didn't show up until I was 22. Thanks for sharing this video.

  • Thanks for putting that video up, I have one of those in my neck, I don't know much about it apart from my surgeon thinks it's a bit too risky to try and remove unless it becomes very large, it's good to learn more about it so thanks :)
