Bestselling author and bike enthusiast Charley Boorman embarks on a brand new adventure: Extreme Frontiers Canada. Watch Charley talk about the new TV series, explore some of the most beautiful and uncharted parts of the world, then read all about it in his brand new book.
@MdAnomalen I have literally just googled this
"the son of German costume designer Christel Kruse and film director John Boorman" says it all. He wasn't a 'nobody' picked off the street for his obvious talent - he's needed to find a vocation and the old school tie has worked.
Really, I find him dull.
Theres too many uncomfortable moments in the program where he is unable to retort or be on an equal with the people of the country he is in.
Anyway, what do I know I'm just a viewer.

@MdAnomalen I don't find him 'cool' in the slightest. I find him mediocre at best. He has little personality and I only ever watch the programs for the content of the scenary etc. When he did that motorbike trip with Ewan McGregor it was Ewan that came across as the good all rounder who was personable and warmed to people and they warmed to him. Charley was just baggage imo and the show didn't need him at all.
I would suggest my opinion isn't just isolated to me.

why do they have such soft sob's making these programs ? How did this guy ever get so famous and have the blessing to do this stuff ? damn.
I'd rather see someone like Bruce Parry or even Ewan McGregor getting stuck into these life challenges. Shame we don't have any butch men to do these shows. Even that guy who did 'Alone in the Wild' Ed Wardle cracked up and was in tears the FIRST DAY !
WUSSYS !
