  • @TitanaMaster Hi, may I know how did u implement the EKF on an IMU? I am working on sensor fusion using EKF , and a little hint will help! thanks!

  • i can barely see any lag in the 200 HZ data. Nice

  • @Xormithan I did it. I made a VERY simplified version (finally) of my first "extended kalman filter". Actually There is no reason (any more for me) to use kalman which is very good but also processor killer, I have managed to get a working version of an ultra stable complementary filter. It is like comparing a Ferrari to a Laborgini when comparing extended kalman to my complementary filter. Totally different things. No comparison but VERY EXCELLENT results, maybe better than an extended kalman.

  • @rodstartube That is more broadband EMF than a magnetic disturbance, depending on how the ignition system is configured. In any case, if there were transient magnetic pulses, they could be filtered out pretty well algorithmically.

  • @TitanaMaster Congratulations. I am eagerly waiting to see your novel contributions to the science of inertial navigation systems, as I'm sure everyone else is.

  • I've almost finished my imu that is as accurate a that without an EKF.

I'm using a new "Active Filter".

I'm thinking on selling it on internet in some weeks, when it will be completely finished. It is VERY robust.

  • really really good.

  • do you know if a working gas engine's sparkplug's spark magnetic field (at 10inch from it) will be enough to affect orientation?

  • good response time, accurate output, great!

  • how can i get the program ? i got a custom made imu board ?
