They ran in the coldes, snowiest weather... but get a frew drops of rain on the engine (ignition system actually) and a nice, big, fat no start for you. Themn the oil leaks after five years or about 75,000 miles.... But I sure miss my '74 Super Beetle that was stolen when I was out of town with a GF.... in my 1980 Scirocco!
