Tempest High score. This is a PC version which I found to be most accurate to the original arcade upright model from 1980. This is me playing, normaly I can get to this point fairly easily. I have done better (the greens, and I have made it past level 99 a few times), but it has been quite some time.

Cool! I never got past the fig. 8, let alone the invisible levels! I was shopping around for one a few yrs. back and I found a web site that sells re-furb. machines.. $1500 w/ a 5yr. service contract!

hi 5r93. Just watched the vid, bought me right back to my teens.
I would like to know please what pc platform you have used and which emulation software ?
I am keen to bring back the memories to a white board in my house.
Also, where did you get your 'spinner' from if you did use one ? Believe me, anybody who can get to the levels you have and NOT used a spinner is way further out there then me on this game !

Wow, what a flashback. Was re-listening to Wil Wheaton's '07 PAX keynote, and when he mentioned Tempest, I had a sudden, "Wait, I think I *remember* that one!" and came over here to search. Now that I'm watching, I can't even quite remember how it worked!

Very cool! Making it past the yellows or even well into the yellows seperarates the "men from the boys".
