  • I'm sorry - but US Auto workers in general are GROSSLY overpaid. That is said basing pay rate on job skill is versus cost of living in a particular region or country.

Further, even though the domestic auto industry has increased quality dramatically in the last decade, they are still clearly inferior products to the Asian and European imports.

I have a lot more to back what I say - but, a 500 character limit kinda kills the soap-box...

  • All the bailout does is dig ourself into a bigger hole.....get your facts straight.

  • Just another overpaid Republican asshole.

Your wages and benefits ARE next to be attacked!

FYT- Toyota pays the same to its auto workers as GM!

  • ok, if you think this is all reasonable, consider this line, which Sen. Corker said in the same speech: "...crisis is when good things happen. It is when you can make people do things."

Does this sound familiar? While we are in shock and awe, all kind of things happen don't they!
