  • they are not trying to be racist at all. That was normal back then. just like many older black people in america still consider themselves to be not african american, but "negroes" It's not racist it's just the way it was.

  • salga a bordo cazzzoooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • are there any pure races anymore . fuk the racism just enjoy the song and get on board. there room for plenty of more no matter where ya from.

  • So everybody "Get on Board" and masturbate to the biggest bullies agenda, so you can be next inline to be the task master of making the powerful more powerful by echoing every single idea the most social unaware corporate mule whipper during the big meeting. So "Get on Board" and reinvent being a decent person with a brand new phrase so the next in line can move all the desk around to make them feel more in control.

  • WHAT'S WITH THE KANJI ON THE TOP CORNER?

  • @bgrosval yea, and the way it was back than was racist - it was totally normal, like you said. they didnt have to try - they were.

  • i dont know some stuff of what they are singing since im from sweden. the only thing i understand is GET ON BOARD.

in swedesh Get On Board means: Gå Ombord

  • @blakegriplingph Yeah, so much lack of respect that they bother to burn cork and paint their faces black and sing spirituals and popular songs and dances. It was appreciation of it. Even the originator of blackface said it. It represented a carefree, hedonistic, joyous life that was being lived against the Puritan strict work ethic and social codes whites were expected to live by. Blackface was a way of merging two different worlds.

  • Girl sang the song good, just didn't like the painted lip stuff on the black people in the back. I mean come on, can you take anyone seriously with their lips painted like that? No matter how many times I look at it, I always get a sinister feeling about it.

  • maybe people wouldnt call you a 'nigger' so much if you didnt do a capital at the beginning of every word. just saying.
