This was the first "successful" flight (i.e. the brushless motor didn't melt down in-flight) of my FPV Easystar.

Still working on the base station so this was not flown via video.

Equipment: Multiplex Easystar airframe, GoPro Hero2 HD camera running at 720p, Unknown-brand 1.3 GHz video transmitter (yes, I am licensed), Commonsense RC 2000KV brushless motor, E-Flite 30A ESC, 6" x 4" APC prop, GWS 6-ch 72MHz receiver, 3S (11.1V) 3200 mAh LiPo.

So, yes, it's rather heavy for a glider at 32 oz or 2 pounds! Plans for the future include a lighter battery, a lighter video transmitter, carbon fiber reinforcements for the wings and horizontal stabilizer, OSD, ArduPilot, Pan/Tilt camera mount, etc...
