  • Hey man thanks a lot for this video. I will be doing this on my Girl's 01 4.7 Durango shortly. The tip for keeping track of the bolts is GOLD advice! Damn glad i found this video. Also glad it doesn't look like it will be that bad. I'm gonna hit like on this and subscribe.

  • @thunderbirdlver I'm glad you found it helpful- be sure to let me know if there's something you'd like to see a video on.

  • @briansmobile1 Well the new pump is one but I found it it was a 5.9 not a 4.7. The sticker under the hood says 3.9 haha! Anyway I still used your advice for not mixing up bolts as some were very long. I know it seems simple but I just never thought of doing it that way. But it's on and not leaking so I am a hero in her and her family's eyes! That's what I really want. Thanks again.

  • @thunderbirdlver You're welcome. Good work!

  • cool thanks man, I have to change mine out on my 2003 Durango 4.7 and this video helps a lot. Thanks

  • @briansmobile1 I myself have a 2003 Grand Marquis. the wipers like to just go when they want and the climate control lost its vacuum. I hear on the forums there's an O ring inside the unit that needs replaced. Do you know anything about that?

  • Brian, yes 101 ways to skin a cat so to speak, i did my ZJ 5.2 pump over the summer and transformed a bicycle pedal wrench into a spanner wrench. It's about a ft long so long enough to bottom out against something under there as long as it's not the plastic PS pulley and didn't cost me a penny to make vs the ones they have to special order and cost about 50 bucks, i just used a BIG adjustable for the fan nut, {i don't have access to air tools where i am}, rubber o ring eliminates most scraping

  • do the evil laugh dave does hahaha.

  • These Durangos are nice. Back when Durangos still looked like SUVs instead of minivans.
