How to convert a pencil drawing to a full-color digital image. I know lots of artists, doodlers, and comickers have probably wanted to upload their work to the Internet, but have been frustrated by the sketchy quality of markers and colored pencils, or by poor scanners. Using these simple techniques, you can transform any pencil drawing into a sharp, polished-looking piece of digital art. Obviously this is primarily for webcomics, but similar techniques can be applied to any drawing. This is my first-ever Youtube upload, so my apologies if it's less that dazzling, but the information is good and is a combination of my own experience and what I've learned from established webcomic artists. This video was made with Camstudio free screen recording software, Photoshop Elements 7, and a 4" by 7" Wacom digital tablet--all of which are highly recommended. So basically you upload the image and trace it using photoshop, then color it...
