Your mom is wonderful for accepting ya'll for who ya'll are!!! I am almost 43 and when I told my mom when I was about 19 that I was gay, she told me she already knew and she loved me anyway. I am fortunate to have an accepting family. I have commented on here before , BUT I like to look at the comments on here from time to time and be reminded of how many ignorant people we still have in our society.

This woman is wise. She not only accepts her childrens sexuality, but she understands sexuality better than most. "One never knows, does one?" She has it right. The idea of 'orientation' is not helpful. Not for people trying to figure out what type of relationship they want with someone else, or for anyone trying to understand people who act differently from yourself. Sexuality has been turned into a performance. People ACT how they want to see themselves and lose time just living.
