@AngelkissDj I played a rave on the north side back in high school at an abandoned banquet hall. The kids who promoted the party where dead serious about throwing parties and one of them ended up being a night club promoter at a spot called LIT but in general the night life there seems to cater to quite a pallet of tastes. Theres a dance club on every block downtown by the lake side it seems. Its worth a trip if your into clubbing. SMARTBAR has tons of good deep/tech house DJs through regularly

@AlexanderSaint1 i feel ur pain buddy, iam currently living in two places amsterdam and brussels, 'dam is without a doubt the coolest place in western europe to hear some dope gigs, lots n lots of ecclectic djs r tourin' here, ive never been in da midwest, ive been many times in miami beach to attend the wmc festival, n south beach vibes r somethin' magic, sadly it still lack real underground clubs...i heard some pasl who told me that windy city was quiet great, should make a stop there someday

@AngelkissDj Yeah, it is a shame, no doubt about that. I live in the northern mid-west here in farmland USA :D Ironically about 200 miles north of Chicago. But yeah, never will you see acts like Mark Farina, the Martinez Brothers or anyone else lest they play in Milwaukee once every other blue moon. Amazingly Bad Boy Bill is coming through Appleton in a couple weeks but it remains to be seen if that kind of music will catch on here.. so far the top 40 still rules this sad roost lol

I have clubbed in many places worldwide n trust me even great places tend to become more n more packed with sore losers lik drunk folks or cocaine losers who cant appreciate the great sounds of electro, progressive n tech house beats..

Wish we could play like this where I live. People here just want to hear something they can sing along to or bang their head against a brick wall head banging to lol. You end up being a juke box with a heartbeat. But then again people here dont go out to dance, they go out to get drunk and forget where they are :D Heres to moving far away and being a DJ at club YouTube for now lol! Cheers!
