Roland TD-9KX2 - Chris Arnold - Suburban Metal (FriendsJam)

This is my first video of my new Roland V-Drums TD9-KX2 set. I love it. I am not the best drummer and I know it. My main instrument is guitar, but I want to get a lot better at drums. I know the double bass is sloppy and at times I get off beat, but I had so much fun playing this song that I just wanted to share it. This song is from the Roland FriendsJam program. I took it from that and put it on a USB stick to practice without having my laptop around all the time. Thanks for watching and keep a lookout for more drum videos! Shot with my new Canon Elph 310 HS. Recorded the audio straight into my Zoom R24.

Do you have to connect the mix in port to your laptop inorder to listen to the song from friend jam in the module?

You can use the TD9 to record just like anything else, but you can't record direct to the td9 and remix. Sorry if there was confusion with that.

You could do that with garageband on your mac/ipad/iphone or any other soft like cubase.

hi,nice drumming and recording.i've read that td-12's pd85 has a triggering problem about rim shots.was there a problem at your td-9? and can you adjust the volume of rim shots as high as crashes? i can use rims as splash and chinas right? im thinking to buy a td9kx2 too.thank you for any help
