Nicknamed The Prodigy, BJ Penn was introduced to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Hilo, Hawaii at the tender age of 17 by neighbor Tom Callos. It was through Tom that BJ met Ralph Gracie in 1997 and decided to relocate to Mountain View, CA to further his jiu-jitsu training.

From that time on, BJ Penn launched his storied career through the ranks of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and is today a UFC World Champion.

-I started posting when I was 17 -It took me 3 years to earn a sherdog blackbelt -I've hold screennames on two different websites -I'm a non-american bb on sherdog keyboard championships -I don't like rankings -I've posted a lot -but posting a lot can only get you so far -you got to love to post -you can't judge the quality of posts by count, because on day you post good, one day you're on the bottom -you got to keep posting, it's a constant journey
