Summer 2007: a traveling show from the San Antonio Museum of Art visits the Reading Public Museum. Many of the artists are unknown with much of the work coming from Mexico. The exhibit deals primarily with traditional and devotional themes. Sculls, masks and altar pieces figure prominently for el Dia de los Muertos (the Day of the Dead). Art critic Ron Schira takes a walk through the display.
