Gypsy Band Playing in Florence, Italy, Sept 2004

This is an incredible performance by a gypsy band on the streets of Florence, Italy. I took a special interest because the Gypsies are nomads who originated in Rajasthan, India, over 1000 years ago. In my opinion, the gypsies have influenced all European music, particularly that of Eastern Europe, including in particular, Klezmer. The gypsies are also incredible linguists, they are able to easily pick up any language. This particular group was fluent in Italian.

they're playing a melody of songs, some are from Russia like Moscow Nights, Kalinka and Dark Eyes and others, maybe from other countries, that i don't recognise. I like this kinda music but i'm guessing that the sound on here doesn't do justice to the live event.
