Armed Assault 2 AI observing 3

Wanted to see if the ARMA2 AI would use vehicles for cover. Unfortunately as you can see from the video - they don't.
Shadows turned off to see units better. BETA 1.01 patch

Nope no god mode, just lucky. Usually 1 or 2 shots will bring me down.

i think they do 'use' it. in a sense that they put the vehicles between them and the enemy fire. just that they dont hug they vehicle

Nope they ignore the vehicles. Only reason it seems that way is because the vehicles are between them and their waypoint. They just ran past the cars and trucks towards enemy fire.

Armed Assault is not the title of the series, it is the subtitle of ARMA 1. ARMA 2 has no subtitle. This is a common misinterpretation.

They do take cover behind them check 0:36.

Yes... just go into the editor, spawn an infantry unit of your choice and set it to be player controlled :3

You can do that with pretty much anything.

tbh m8 i wouldint use a vecicles as cover cus the risk of it blowing up
